After purchasing a new home, the owners wanted to hold on to their prior home as a long-term investment. We discussed the rental market and the this property’s potential rental income. The owners had a few improvements underway, which delayed the listing a few weeks. Once the property was listed, the market had shifted so we had to closely monitor the interest level and make adjustments, accordingly. Soon we began to see more inquiries and after evaluating several parties, we approved a well-qualified applicant who moved in 30 days later.
The owners remained very flexible during the listing period, which proved to be the right approach for this volatile market.
