Brown water supply in washing machine and faucets. I have been working with the building Maint Manager. The main issue is with the washing machine. Through trial and error we have established that the issue is with the HOT water supply to the unit. If i use cold only, there is no problem. However is you use ‘warm’ or ‘hot’ the water is brown. I’ve lost 3 loads of white clothing in the process. The Maint Manager advises that we need to replace the -‘ Watts Pressure Reducing Valve 25/75 setting on the hot water supply.
